Eight cabinet ministers are expected to hold talks at the residence of former President Michel Suleiman on Tuesday, in the third such meeting in one month, An Nahar daily reported.
The ministers are representatives of the Kataeb party and of Suleiman. They also include Ministers Butros Harb and Michel Pharaon.
Kataeb Ministers Sejaan Qazzi, Alain Hakim and Ramzi Jreij met with Prime Minister Tammam Salam on the eve of the meeting.
They briefed Salam on Kataeb Party leader Amin Gemayel’s keenness on the work of the government, said An Nahar.
The ministers also inquired the PM on the latest amendments to the cabinet’s working mechanism, it added.
