Nadine Daher in MTV speaking about etiquette of demonstrations
Daily Star Lebanon: Lebanese Twitter users launched a mocking campaign against the local channel MTV Thursday for airing a program section that taught audiences how to act by the "etiquette of demonstrations". The sarcasm hype was sparked by the latest episode of MTV’s early morning show named "Etiquette," in which an "expert" was explaining how demonstrators should behave to draw public support.
Daher still received a thank you message from one user tweeting under Twitter handle @LebaneseVoices. The TV episode came two days after at least two dozen activists from the YouStink campaign held a surprise sit-in in the hallways outside Environment Minister Mohammad Machnouk’s office, calling for his immediate resignation. The protest came after hours before the expiration of a 72-hour ultimatum that the activists had given Machnouk to resign, something the minister has been refusing to do.
