BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army announced Saturday it arrested four Lebanese and a Palestinian over possession of drugs and weapons in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
The military said in a statement that troops raided houses of fugitives at dawn in the areas of Jnah, Ouzai and Hadath, and arrested four Lebanese for owning and using unlicensed military weapons.
The Palestinian man was arrested for drug possession and lacking legal documents, the statement added.
