The warning comes as the tech giant implements new performance reviews. It also announced in January that it was cutting 6% of its workforce, or 12,000 jobs. Meanwhile, parent Alphabet’s CEO Sundar Pichai has doubled down on implementing a desk-sharing policy in Google’s cloud unit, telling workers in a companywide meeting that offices have been compared to a “ghost town,” and that they should consider being “good stewards” of the company’s real estate investments.
