LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) – The 200 children were forced to lie stretched out in the dirt side-by-side in a single long line. At least 12 gunmen, armed with assault rifles and handguns, are seen standing behind the children.
The first militant opens fire at "point blank range" shooting each child, making his way down the row. The other militants then begin shooting causing the area to fill with dust, clouding the camera’s vision. A clear sustained sound of gunfire can be heard throughout the entire original recording.
According to the Daily Mail, it is not clear what the children were accused of before being killed.
Although the exact location of the video is not known, it is believed to have been shot somewhere inside Syria. ISIS continues to control quite a bit of territory inside Syria, including Raqqa.
ISIS has become notorious for its mass executions, but reports of mass child executions are few in number.
The terrorist group boasts itself on the extreme practices in execution and new ways of killing its prisoners.
The number of people who have died at the hands of ISIS is unimaginable. Even with the United States and Russia’s airstrikes in the country, the terrorist group has proven that they are still fighting strong. The entire world needs to join together and put a stop to this kind of abomination.
